Art-Tech F18 with on board camera
Camera info chucklohr.com You may have already seen my other in flight videos with this camera on the Wild-Hawk. I wanted to try it out on my jet. This is F18 #2… I used 3M painter’s tape to secure this little camera, which is disguised as a keyless remote entry fob. I found it on ebay for under $50 shipped! The video quality is comparable to the flycamone2 and other various spy cams that grayson hobby, nitroplanes and banana hobby sell. The main differences are that this camera has the lense in a much better position for securing it to a plane, it comes with 4GB of memory and it’s WAY cheaper! A quick ebay search for “car keys spy camera” should bring up a number of these auctions. Use good judgement and check a user’s feedback before making a purchase. I got mine direct from China, and was a bit nervous about it getting lost in the mail or arriving broken. I had a wonderful experience and the shipping time took only about 2 weeks.

That’s a real neat video. You did a superb job of making that. The camera looks nothing, yet when I viewed the video, together with the noise and sound as well, it made it look like it was being filmed from a real jet fighter! Just great !! Thanks for sharing,

@TorontoR Thanks for the clarification. That was a very good quality #2, however not all of these cameras are created equally.

He was talking about which version of camera you have since there are a few versions The camera you have is of much lesser quality than a version 3 camera (external card and 720×480 resolution ones)

There are at least three versions of this camera out there and some require an SD card. Hope it works well for you.
hi. ive just got one. after nearly treading on it .. i realized it needed a micro SD card (no built in memory) its a bit fiddly but now works. hope to post some results ASAP !!

try a new usb cable, the one which was included in the box didnt work too
It appeared as a drive on my computer within a few seconds of plugging it in. You might want to try taking a pic or video before plugging it in – maybe your computer doesn’t recognize it being empty?

Thank you! As stated on the side bar and in the video, I got this off ebay from somebody in China. This is the only place I know of to get this camera. The box says “808 car keys Micro-camera.”
